  The Paintsville Independent Board of Education heard an update on the
new high school cafeteria project at its regular meeting on Feb. 8th.
     Architect Bill Richardson assured the Board that activities were going
on behind the scenes in several areas to prepare for construction, but the
wintery weather had delayed progress in the final excavation work.
     Richardson reminded the Board that once full construction begins, the
completion date would be just 12 months after that.
